We’ve Gone Solar!

Yes!  We finally have a big bunch of solar panels on the Arena roof!  This should cover about 40% of our usage, according to the installer’s best estimates.

Yes, you can run your meter backwards!

Indeed, that is a Tesla inverter module you see in those photos (inside and out)!  Many people forget that Tesla is first and foremost an energy company, rather than a car company—at least according to their own mission statements.  Turns out they’re pretty great at solar power systems, just like they are at cars.
